Science is an infinite source of inspiration and it plays a key role in the work of every university. The University Goce Delchev plans to organize a series of events to bring science closer to students, secondary school students, the business community and the society in general.

To take an active part in shaping science and applying it in the everyday life requires much wisdom and knowledge. Once Francis Bacon, a philosopher, statesman, scientist and author, said that cunning people despise science, simple people are thrilled by it, and wise people benefit from it. Our team aspires to bring science nearer to people in their everyday life through the UGD project Science in life.

This project will serve as an introduction to a series of activities and events focused on sharing inspirational scientific popular speeches given by selected speakers – teachers, students, practitioners, experts and parents. The expectation is that by changing the perception on the importance of science in the society, young people will be motivated to present their speeches on the topic of science and thus help to bring awareness about it.

At the event the rector of the University, professor Boev, will give a speech along with the vice-rector of the University, professor Barbareev, and several other distinguished university professors. The moderator of the event is Mr. Bubo Karov.
