This semester will see a total of 22 Erasmus students at UGD as it welcomes internationals from France, Portugal, Italy, Poland and Lithuania.

Medical students are in the majority, followed by those studying at the schools of law, economics, and mechanical engineering, Sanja Stefanova from the Center for International Cooperation of UGD-Shtip says.

“Much as the object of interest has been shifting in recent years, the Medical School has received a steady stream of both home and incoming students,” Stefanova said, adding that the University of Shtip has announced the new Erasmus+ Call for Applications for outbound students.

“I strongly urge all UGD-Shtip students to file an application for the new Erasmus Plus Call ending March 20,” Stefanova said.

UGD offers a wide range of over 400 partner universities listed on its homepage alongside the selection criteria for students and teaching staff.

UGD-Shtip’s popular appeal lies in its great reputation among former incoming Erasmus+ students, while they enjoy the culture and food of the Balkan countries. (Stip, February 27, 2020 (MIA)
