A delegation of the University "Goce Delchev" - Stip, represented by the Rector prof. Dr. Blazo Boev and the vice-rector for education prof. Dr. Misko Dzidrov participated in the celebration of the 117th anniversary of the death of the symbol of the Macedonian revolutionary struggle, Goce Delchev.

Along with delegations from the local self-government, the institutions bearing the name of the great Delchev, as well as political entities, laid flowers in front of the relief of Goce Delchev, located at the UGD Rectorate building. In the same building Goce Delchev was a teacher during his stay in Stip, and there is a Memorial Room in the building of UGD in which documents, photos, school desks, weapons  testify of the work of the great revolutionary. Since its establishment, the University has proudly named it "Goce Delchev".

This years' celebration of the 117th anniversary of the death of Goce Delchev  took place under specific conditions, keeping distance between the present ones and wearing protective masks, due to the current pandemic of COVID  - 19.
