Delegation from the University "Goce Delchev", led by the Rector prof. Blazo Boev, PhD, and the Vice-Rector for education prof. Mishko Djidrov, PhD, today laid fresh flowers at the memorial-relief Goce Delchev, the magnate of Macedonian revolutionary struggle, in Novo Selo in Shtip.

In the yard of the current Rectorate of UGD, the commemoration of the anniversary of the death of the Macedonian revolutionary is traditionally held.

In the same building Goce Delchev taught at the time when he was staying in Shtip and there is a memorial room where are placed documents, photographs, school desks, weapons, which witnessed the work of the great revolutionary. The university has been proudly named "Goce Delchev" since its foundation.

As part of the celebration, fresh flowers were laid today by representatives of institutions bearing his name, political parties and other relevant organizations.
