UGD is establishing collaboration with Firat University in Turkey
Recently, representatives of Firat University in Turkey were on a working visit to the Goce Delchev University of Shtip. On the meeting was discussed the extension of collaborative work and opportunities that the two universities have in order to exchange experiences, students, teamwork and projects.
The University of Turkey has an excellent experience in opening businesses within the faculties by the students and the professors.
Goce Delchev University has expressed a desire to start collaboration on the level of several faculties. Firstly, the collaboration will take place with the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences and the Faculty of Informatics.
Firat University was founded in 1975 and today has over 30,000 students. It is one of the highest ranked universities in Turkey, and the collaboration with UGD was initiated by prof. Dr. Mahmut Celik from the Faculty of Philology at UGD.
