French films, learning the French language and open events with a presentation of French culture and tradition are part of the activities that UGD has agreed on with the French Institute in Skopje.

In the following period, the coordination will start in order to perform part of these activities at the end of spring or the beginning of summer. 

• We discussed the opportunities for cooperation with French universities. I am pleased that UGD in Shtip already has cooperation with the University of Montpellier in France. Today, we talked about other opportunities for cooperation. All these projects will enable mobility of students and teachers. We are also discussing the possibility of organizing an event in spring, where we will promote all opportunities for students - said Hugo Bestel, director of the French Institute in Skopje.

The director of the Institute met with the vice-rector for teaching at UGD, prof. Dr. Mishko Dјidrov, during which these activities were agreed. 

• We already have certain activities in the direction towards cooperation with universities from France. We constantly have students studying French as an elective course. It allows us to consider other activities. During the summer or spring months we will have certain activities in the field of sports, professors from France who can share them with our students - said Vice Rector Dјidrov.

The director of the Institute also visited the memorial room of Goce Delchev, where he had the opportunity to get acquainted with the fact that at some point in history Delchev taught French. He also visited the university media centre, where they also discussed the possibility of cooperation.
