Today Goce Delchev University signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Macedonian-American Alumni Association.
The agreement refers to the use of capacities of both organizations and participation in joint projects.
- We already have involved our professors in their activities. I believe that in future we will have joint project collaborations. The goal is to include as many professors and students from the University as possible - says the Vice Rector for Teaching of UGD prof. Dr. Misko Dzidrov.
The University of Stip already has a large number of members in this alumni organization, and the idea is to increase that number and as many students and professors as possible to apply to the calls of the US Embassy in Macedonia and the Alumni organization.
- With the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation we expect the interest and applications of the academic staff and students of this University to increase. I am talking about the programs that are sponsored by the American Embassy in Macedonia - says Verica Jordanova, President of the MAAA.
The Embassy already has several programs that students and professors from the University could apply for.
- There are currently three programs, two of which are in education. The “Fulbright Student” program is for graduate students and the “Fulbright Scholar” program offers postdoctoral research, says Gazmend Iljazi of the US Embassy in Northern Macedonia.
The agreement was signed today by the rector of UGD prof. Dr. Blazo Boev and the President of MAAA Verica Jordanova.
